I wish Kat's Sitting had a bicoastal service!!!  Kat has provided me with profoundly competent and compassionate service, caring for Cookie Puss during her long illness when I couldn't be at home- taking her to the vet, and making house calls to irrigate her abscess and give her fluids and medication; introducing me to the divine Ruff and Smushy, and helping Smushy and me after our terrible fire- and finding the Divine Woozle for me, too!  Kat's training as a technician has been indispensable, and no one could love kitties more or provide such caring service. I always feel confident when I leave LA that the kitties will be in excellent hands. And they adore Kat, of course.

Kat Nelson of Kat’s Sitting was a "Life Saver" for a 6 year period when I was traveling from Los Angeles to New York City every other week for business.  Moving to NYC full time wasn't an option, so I retained Kat's services to come twice a day every day for every other week to feed my cats, sort the mail, water plants both inside and outside, allow entry and supervise repairs as needed and take the cats to the vet for annual shots and check-ups.  What was expected to be a several month situation turned into over 6 years of excellent service. Kat still has keys to the house, access to security code and is still a part of our cat’s life and mine and always will be.  We still utilize her services for vacations, holiday getaways and allowing entry for repairs when we can't leave office.  I have found Kat to be most flexible and available at a moments notice and no request has ever been denied.

Kat Nelson is the most amazing cat sitter I’ve ever entrusted my cats to.  She truly cares about and loves all animals. (She has been known to save a baby squirrel on the side of the road!) I feel so comfortable and safe having Kat take care of my kitties that if I had young children, I would feel completely safe going out of town for a month and having Kat take care of them too.  She is incredibly patient, loving, honest and is as competent as most vets I know.  She is completely reliable and always on time.  She can also medicate a cat in a few seconds, even one who hates getting meds.  She has given my cats fluids and meds on a regular basis and held me together during the last months of one of my precious cats.  Can’t say enough good things about her.  She’s funny too!
